Advanced Biometry

Theoretical foundations and practical application of statistics to the synthesis, representation and analysis of data sets from marine, environmental and biomedical sciences. Students will use computer software applications to analyze case studies provided by HPU graduate mentors using a variety of approaches: contingency tables, t-tests, correlations, regression, and analysis of variance applications. These analyses will be presented in the context of experimental design and hypothesis testing.
